GIRLS
We support girls at a pivotal time when they are developing their identities, becoming more aware of and impacted by social/gender constructs, and learning how to navigate more complex relationships. We welcome anyone that identifies as a girl, as well as non-gender conforming, non-binary, gender fluid and trans youth. We believe that that gender is an intersection of identity, biology, and expression and respect an individual’s right to determine their own gender.
LEADERSHIP
Leadership is knowing who you are (identity, passions, strengths), what you believe in (your values), and leveraging those to impact the world and others. We believe everyone has innate leadership skills and you do not have to be in a formal leadership position to be a leader. Everyday relationships and experiences with family, friends, peers, and community are opportunities to practice leadership.
COLLECTIVE
We envision a Collective community of girls and women supporting each other in owning their own individual power and our collective power. We seek to build cohorts of 8-12 girls each in different communities who are part of a larger collective that comes together to share resources, empower each other, and use our voices to speak up and lead.
